You need to enroll if you’re...
  • Making changes to your benefit plans;
  • Adding or dropping dependents;
  • Electing a different medical or dental plan due to the elimination of your current plan; this includes the UAW Core medical plan and the SPEEA WTPU Premier medical plan and Preferred dental plan;
  • Contributing to the Health Care or Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for the coming year — current FSA elections will not carry over;
  • Naming beneficiaries for your Life and Accident plans; or
  • Adding dependent information on dependents for whom you provide spouse life, child life, or supplemental Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) benefits.

 

There are a number of changes and enhancements to our 2012/2013 benefits package,
so be sure to read your online enrollment guide for details, and make your elections by May 11.

Enroll from home or work in three easy steps:
 

1 Click on your employee group:
2 Review your benefit options and changes for the coming benefit year.
3 Make your 2012/2013 elections:
. Go to www.myspiritbenefits.mercerhrs.com (if you don’t have access to a computer, call the Benefits Center at 1-877-459-3345 to enroll).
. Enter your Social Security number and PIN, which has been reset to the last four digits of your Social Security number — once you log in, you’ll be required
to change it.

After you enroll, you’ll receive a link to view your 2012/2013 elections online. Review your elections and print a copy for your records, as paper confirmation statements will not be mailed to your home.

Special Note for New Hires
(if making benefit elections 5/1/2012 or after)

Please contact the Spirit AeroSystems Benefits Center at 1-877-459-3345 to enroll for both the current benefit year and the coming 2012/2013 benefit year. You will not be able to make your elections via the online system.
